Look Good Feel Better

We understand how emotionally challenging living with cancer can be…

That’s why we offer workshops hosted by industry-trained specialists which provide practical support to people living with cancer. Our in-person and virtual workshops provide men, women and young adults with cosmetic and practical advice including changes to skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, hair, nails as well as general body confidence.

The best thing about them? Each workshop offers an invaluable opportunity to meet others going through a similar situation,

Celebrating 30 Years of Look Good Feel Better

The charity was established in 1994 with our first ever workshop taking place at the Royal Free Hospital in North London. Fast forward 30 years and our services have grown monumentally. Our workshops are now running in over 120 locations across the UK, and we now also offer a range of different online workshops, tailored to address the common physical side effects of cancer treatment, and available for people to access anywhere.

Who we are

We provide cancer support services within local communities through a combination of in-person and online group sessions, as well as digital resources. Our aim is to empower individuals to confront cancer with confidence, restore their sense of normalcy, share their experiences, and ultimately enhance their well-being and self-esteem

History

Established in 1999, Look Good Feel Better UK has developed into the leading cancer support charity, helping provide support to women, men and young adults whilst going through cancer treatment.

We are part of an affiliate group of charites represented in 27 countries. Broadly each charity provides the same services, with some slight variances depending on geography of the country and cultural differences.

Every donation makes a difference

Our services are needed today more than ever, but we face the future knowing that our workshops will continue to help thousands of people face cancer with confidence.

Whilst we ensure that our workshops come at no cost to those going through a cancer diagnosis, it costs us £1000 to run a workshop for up to 10 people. By making a donation, you’ll help us provide vital support to those who need it most.

Over the last three decades, we have helped over 200,000 people living with cancer to regain their confidence and self-esteem. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters. It’s your belief in our work that enables us to keep going and growing.
