Volunteering with Look Good Feel Better is an amazing way to support the cancer community. Offering your time and skills will not only help us achieve our mission but will also have many benefits for you as an individual or business. Join hundreds of others across the country to volunteer at workshops, in local community fundraising groups, at our headquarters or from the comfort of your home.
Volunteer to lead a workshop
To become a workshop volunteer, we need you to have a professional qualification (NVQ level 2+ or equivalent), or work for a cosmetic brand, and 1+ years’ hands on experience in skincare and make-up application. You will also need plenty of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and the true desire to make a difference. All we ask is that that you can donate a minimum of 9 hours a year to help our cause.
Community Volunteers are a team of supporters across the UK representing Look Good Feel Better helping to raise funds and awareness across their local community. This role is based in the community away from the workshop setting, so you don’t have to be beauty trained but you do need to have the passion to positively represent Look Good Feel Better amongst your local community.
This is an office based role in our Epsom HQ, supporting the Programme Services department, this role is key to build relationships with our patient beneficiaries to ensure that we provide them with the support they need and to qualify potential new volunteers when they apply to support Look Good Feel Better. You will need to be able to quickly and accurately analyse situations and provide accurate and effective advice on sensitive situations.
